College / High School Internship Program

Opportunities

Looking for a rewarding way to give back to your community and gain valuable skills, while building your resume at the same time?  The State Attorney’s Office offers a fast paced, stimulating and welcoming environment.

College Interns and High School Students

College and High School students may earn school and community service credit. Hands-on opportunities allow students to gain experience that can enhance a resume and provide valuable insight into career directions.

College students must be currently enrolled in either an accredited undergraduate or graduate degree program.

High School students must be at least 16 years old and in their junior or senior year of high school.

Location

Opportunities are in the main office in West Palm Beach or satellite offices in Palm Beach Gardens, Delray Beach or Belle Glade.

Volunteer Program Application and Expectations

For more information, contact the Volunteer Coordinator who can assess your interests, availability and skills within the context of the current needs of the State Attorney’s Office.

Prior to participating in the Volunteer Program, candidates must undergo a criminal background check, including fingerprinting.

Each volunteer is considered a member of the State Attorney’s Office family and is responsible for following all policies and procedures.
